About

I’m not a designer, programmer, project manager or systems analyst…I’m some bizarre combination of all the above, a slave to all those disciplines in the context of the online space; which, ever-increasingly is having a backward input on the strategy of an organisation.

I’m an Information Architect and specialise in the User Experience.

It all started at university with my thesis on integrated personalisation which quantified and qualified web page attractiveness. That was ten years ago, since then -

I’ve been part of the whole website development life cycle and often find myself coaching leaders in understanding their goals and communicating that to their team and their users.

I’ve worked for some prestigious organisations including MTV, EMI, Ted Baker.

And some good causes: Oxfordshire Information Services, Mother’s Choice, The Vine Christian Fellowship.

I’ve just moved from working on a contract basis in Hong Kong to London and am now “Head of Web” at Holy Trinity Brompton, but before 2006 I worked on a research project at Oxford University – “Electronic Enlightenment”

I’m trained in Prince2 and SSADM and self taught in Design and Programming (who isn’t?!).

I’m a member of the IA Institute.

Re. is my blog / portfolio site.

Enjoy.
